February = Valentine’s Day = time to show the love! And what better way to show it than with a sweet treat?
One thing we love about these Marshmallow Pops is that they are easy to make and yield 45-50 pops, which means you have plenty to gift to friends, your child’s classmates, your co-workers, neighbors, bible study crew… there is plenty to go around!
Thanks always to our dear friend Nancy C. for coming up with a brilliant Valentine’s recipe to share.

Prep Time: 40 min
Bake Time: None
Ingredients/Tools:
-
1 (10 or 12 oz.) packagemelting wafers (chocolate, white, or pink)
-
1 (12 oz.) bag regular sizemarshmallows (or use jumbo or giant-size)
-
Lollipop sticks
-
Valentine sprinkles (you can also use decorating sugar)
-
Kitchen items: small bowl(s) for sprinkles; 3 to 4 mugs for drying the pops, with candies used as filler to prop up the pops
-
Optional: small cellophane bags for gifting
Instructions:
-
Push a lollipop stick into the center of one of the edges of each marshmallow; set aside. Put sprinkles into a small bowl. Fill mugs to be used for drying the pops with small candies (M&Ms® work great).
-
Melt the melting wafters according to package directions.
-
After wafers are melted, dip each marshmallow, one at a time, into the melted chocolate, about halfway up; let excess chocolate drip off. Right after dipping each marshmallow, roll in your small bow of sprinkles to cover some or all of the melted chocolate—then place marshmallow pop, stick down, in a mug until the chocolate sets.
-
Repeat for each marshmallow, placing in mugs to set. You can also put the mugs of marshmallow pops in the refrigerator for a few minutes so they set faster.
-
After chocolate is set, store pops in an airtight container or wrap each pop in a small cellophane bag for gifting.
