Good Food Feeds the Body, Good Company Feeds the Soul

November 25, 2014 by Caitlin Wilson

Good Food Feeds the Body, Good Company Feeds the Soul. In my humble opinion, this phrase perfectly describes Thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving Day, we will Gather around the table with the ones we love. We will laugh, ?catch up?, and reminisce about the Thanksgivings before. It is in these moments our souls will be filled to contentment with love and thanksgiving for one another.

But we can?t forget what has brought us to the table ? Good Food! Turkey, Stuffing, Casseroles, and more. We will eat till our bellies are full, and if we?re being honest with ourselves, till our waistbands become too tight.

Ah, Good Food Feeds the Body, Good Company Feeds the Soul.

Now if you?re like me, the words ?Good Food? may be a little daunting. But don?t let it be! Whether your ?Good Food? is from the local grocery store or made from scratch, it does not matter. It is good, because YOU bought/made it with the intention of feeding others. After years of watching my mother cook hours on end for our Guests, I have come to the realization that filling the bellies of those who gather around the table is an act of pure love. So this Thanksgiving, love with Good Food!

As always, we want to make the act of loving others simple for you! So if you are the type of person who loves to cook or just want to try your hand at cooking, we have three delicious recipes for Good Food that your Guests are sure to love.
